Dear Mom and Dad,
Throughout my three years in middle school, I have progressed immensely and I am now ready to move on to high school. I couldn't have done it without your help, and I thank you for it. This is showing my growth as a writer and as a student all together. Throughout this portfolio, you will see the many pieces of writing that we did this year. My wonderful teacher, Mrs. Jacques, has helped me become a better writer and helped me understand writing as a whole. The next few years will shape my future, and I am super excited for it! Again, thank you for being there for me and helping me conquer middle school.
